In an effort to raise awareness and money for thousands of cancer patients in Australia, the cancer council called upon the denizens of the world to make that happen. Millions of dollars were raised as the campaign started to surge to the corners of the web. Many cancer research facilities around the world have raised millions, specifically the U.K and Australia with over 8 million euros at the time. The support online for such a good cause led to many people surviving cancer and recovering sooner.
